An Apple Sack Fashion Contest!! That’s right!
We’ve got something new this year. We are excited to announce a new event for the 2025 Johnny Appleseed Festival…an Apple Sack Fashion Contest!
The Apple Sack Fashion Contest will give contestants an opportunity to showcase their creative talents by creating a piece of fashion with the primary and common element being an “apple sack” (burlap bag). No Johnny Appleseed costumes are permitted! The final creation must be worn/modeled at the Festival by either the creator or a designee. All designs must be “family friendly”. A complete list of rules will be available upon purchase of burlap sack(s).
Burlap sacks may be purchased from the Chamber Office for $10 each. More than one bag per entry is permitted.
