Our story began on a summer evening in 1961 when an Italian woman started selling pizzas out of her garage. This woman's name was Mary Spadero. She was the daughter of two Italian immigrants looking for a better life in the United States. Mary used a recipe that she and her mother had hand crafted over the years.
